WSU invites you to join our Community of Learners as an Assistant Professor of Economics. This position is a probationary/tenure-track appointment starting August 17, 2015. As a faculty member, you will be responsible for teaching undergraduate economics courses with an average 12 credit-hour teaching load per semester. Additional duties include: (1) engaging in scholarly activities leading to refereed publications consistent with AACSB accreditation standards for the College of Business; (2) showing evidence of continuing preparation and study; (3) contributing to student growth and development including student advising; and (4) providing service to the university and the community. If you possess Ph.D. in Economics or are currently ABD (with Ph.D. granted prior to applying for tenure), we encourage you to apply. Priority will be given to candidates with Econometrics/Macroeconomics fields of specialization.
