Description:
The Department of Economics in the College of Arts and Sciences seeks a Senior Research Associate to support and conduct complex scientific studies. Candidate will be expected to advise and instruct graduate students in analysis and interpretation of research data; prepare/present seminars on research results; participate in selection, supervision and review of project personnel; edit grant proposals, prepare IRB documents and detailed summaries for sponsoring agencies. This is a one-year position, renewable based on performance and funding availability. Salary and benefits are competitive.

Qualifications:
Doctoral degree in economics or public policy and management or equivalent combination of education and experience. Extensive experience in social science research required. Strong analytical skills, experience analyzing complex data sets and administrative experience preferred.
