Full Text of JOE Listing:
Evidence for Policy Design (EPoD) at the Harvard Kennedy School is a research initiative that brings data and economic insights to the design and implementation of public policies in countries around the world.
EPoD is recruiting post-doctoral fellows to contribute to a policy-research engagement with Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Labor and Human Resources Development Fund. Researchers will work with policy counterparts to identify and evaluate potential policy solutions to employment issues in Saudi Arabia. The position offers an opportunity to work closely with leading economists and collaborate with Saudi policymakers.
Responsibilities:
• Produce original empirical research on Saudi labor market issues
• Compile, assess, and synthesize research into policy briefs, white papers, and academic articles
• Manage data collection with field staff and partner organizations
• Contribute to other related activities, as needed
Qualifications:
• PhD in economics, public policy, political science, or related field with an empirical focus
• Experience living and/or working in Saudi Arabia
• Excellent English and fluent Arabic oral and written communication skills
• Proficiency with Stata
