The Department of Economics at Oberlin College invites applications for a full-time, non-continuing faculty position. Appointment to this position will be for a term of one year beginning first semester of the academic year 2015-16 and will carry the rank of Visiting Assistant Professor.
The incumbent will teach a total of five courses including intermediate-level applied courses in any area of applied economics and core courses in economics – principles, intermediate theory or econometrics.
Among the qualifications required for appointment is the Ph.D. degree (in hand or expected by August 2015) in Economics. Candidates must demonstrate interest and potential excellence in undergraduate teaching. Successful teaching experience and policy analysis are both desirable.
