The Department of Economics at Pacific University invites applications for a visiting assistant professor one-year replacement position beginning August 24, 2015. We seek candidates with a strong demonstrated ability to teach undergraduate courses. Although we will consider candidates with a specialization in any field in economics, Principles of Macroeconomics and Money and Banking are likely among the 5 or 6 courses to be taught during the 2015-2016 academic year. Ph.D. preferred; ABD considered.

Review of applications will begin immediately and will continue until the position is filled. The College of Arts and Science at Pacific University is a private, coeducational liberal arts college located in Forest Grove, approximately 25 miles west of Portland, Oregon.
