The Department of Management and the Institute for Management & Innovation at the University of Toronto Mississauga invite applications for a tenure-stream appointment in Finance / Financial Economics, at the rank of Assistant Professor. The start date is July 1, 2016.

Applicants must have a PhD in Finance or Financial Economics by date of appointment or shortly thereafter. Applicants from all areas of finance are encouraged to apply. Demonstrated mastery of techniques in theory, empirical or experimental research methods required, as is evidence of excellence in teaching and research.

Evidence of excellence in teaching can be demonstrated through teaching accomplishments and letters of reference indicating good presentation skills. Evidence of excellence in research can be demonstrated by working papers, publications in top ranked and field relevant academic journals, presentations and awards.

Salary to be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
