The Department of Health and Behavioral Sciences at the University of Colorado Denver invites applications for a tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor level to begin in Fall 2016. The area of expertise is open to health, broadly defined, and we particularly encourage applications from individuals who conduct research and teach in the areas of environmental health, health policy, biomarkers, decision-making, and health economics. The program is especially interested in individuals who fit with the Department's interdisciplinary focus on the application of social, behavioral, and natural science theory and methods to social and biological aspects of population health in national and/or global contexts. The successful candidate will join a faculty active in research, grant-writing, and teaching in a program with a Ph.D. degree and undergraduate major in public health. The position is a 9-month appointment with a 4-course per academic year teaching expectation in the department's Ph.D. and undergraduate programs.
Salary is competitive, not grant dependent and will be offered on a basis commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Applicants must apply online at www.jobsatcu.com, refer to job posting F02860. Review of applications will begin on October 11, 2015 and continue until the position is filled.
