Department of Economics at the University of Haifa [econ.haifa.ac.il] is looking to recruit several tenure-track junior and/or senior faculty members. Excellent applicants from all fields will be considered and hired on research potential. Senior candidates will need to demonstrate this by having a successful publication record in the top economic journals. Junior candidates must have a high quality job market paper and presentation. Successful candidates are expected to supervise MA/PhD theses, teach at both the undergraduate and graduate level, and contribute to our strong research environment. The positions are intended for scholars considering a long-term move to Israel. The University of Haifa is located on the scenic Carmel mountain ridge southeast of the city and is surrounded by the Carmel National Park. It has a diverse, 17,000 student body consisting of Jews, Muslims, Christians and Druze. Applications will be considered on a rolling basis but those received by December 1st will be considered first.
