Job Description
The Department of Resource Economics invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor with an applied econometrics and/or experimental research focus in managerial economics or industrial organization. Under exceptional circumstances, highly qualified candidates at other ranks may receive consideration. The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to teaching in our growing Managerial Economics track at the undergraduate level. Teaching responsibilities may also include graduate and undergraduate courses in industrial organization, experimental economics, and/or quantitative methods/applied econometrics.
Requirements
Applicants are required to have a Ph.D. in industrial organization, managerial/agricultural/ resource/applied economics, economics, or a related field as of September 1, 2016.
Additional Information
The Department of Resource Economics has 14 faculty, 300 undergraduate majors, and about 20 graduate students (one-half are Ph.D. candidates). We place special emphases on faculty-student interaction and cooperation among faculty. We share a fundamental commitment to teach and attract a diverse student body.
