The Department of Economics within the Division of Social Sciences at the University of California San Diego (http://economics.ucsd.edu) is committed to academic excellence and diversity within the faculty, staff, and student body. The Department invites applications for multiple tenure-track Assistant Professor positions in economics (any field). The positions begin July 1, 2016 (subject to budget provisions). Candidates must show potential for achieving significant results in original research, possess strong teaching skills, and have a PhD in Economics or a related field by September 1, 2016; applicants currently in a doctoral program must have advanced to candidacy prior to any potential offer of employment. The preferred applicant will demonstrate a strong commitment to support diversity, equity and inclusion in an academic setting.

Candidates must provide vita, three original letters of reference (sent under separate cover), and a sample of the applicant’s work.
