Full Text of JOE Listing:
The Economics Department at Universidad de Montevideo invites applicants for two tenure-tracks faculty positions at the Rank of Assistant or Associate Professor beginning in August 2016.
We seek researchers in the fields of macro, monetary, international economics, finance and business.
The main focus of the position is research; the applicant will teach two 60 hours courses at the undergrad level, and a 32 hours course at the masters level per year.
The University is located in Montevideo, the capital city of Uruguay. Knowledge of Spanish is not required.
We will not interview in the AEA/ASSA meetings. Candidates will be screened, and fly-out will be given for successuful candidates.
