We invite applications from outstanding academics to contribute to research and teaching in the field of microeconomic or macroeconomic aspects of development with a focus on the Asia-Pacific region, specifically Indonesia. This fixed-term position provides a unique opportunity to work with outstanding scholars in the Indonesia Project and the Arndt-Corden Department of Economics in the Australian National University. The two institutions together are widely recognised as world leaders in research into the Indonesian economy.

You will have strong research and teaching capabilities and will be expected to make significant contribution to obtain external funding, as well as attract and supervise research students. The appointee will teach a quantitative policy impact evaluation course, take part in the management of Department'sIndonesia Project and become a member of the Bulletin of Indonesian Economic studies' editorial team.
