The Center for Research in International Economics (CREI), invites applications for research positions. Fields of interest include:

• Macroeconomics
• International Finance
• Monetary and Financial Economics
• Growth and Development
• Trade and Economic Geography
• Political Economy

CREI is a research institute sponsored by the Government of Catalonia and Universitat Pompeu Fabra (UPF) with the aim of promoting economic research subject to the highest standards. It is located in Barcelona, within the campus of UPF. CREI is also an academic unit of the Barcelona Graduate School of Economics (Barcelona GSE).

Current openings are at both senior and junior levels. Junior researchers are offered tenure-track positions subject to an evaluation after six years. Though CREI’s researchers have no teaching obligations as such, they are encouraged to participate actively in the UPF and Barcelona GSE academic programs. Terms of appointment are flexible and competitive.

Applicants must hold a PhD in Economics or be in the process of obtaining it. Applications, including a curriculum vitae and a sample of recent work, should be sent via https://econjobmarket.org.
