Full Text of JOE Listing:
The Risk Analytics, Data Analysis and Research (RADAR) Group within the Supervision, Regulation and Credit (SRC) Department seeks to hire a financial economist in the area of residential mortgage finance. The ideal candidate will be an integral part of a dynamic team that supports a full array of very large databases and conducts analysis and research on these data. The individual will contribute towards the unit’s supervisory data management and modeling efforts related to the annual “stress tests” and will provide subject matter expertise on mortgage and home equity related topics.
Candidates must hold or be seeking a Ph.D. in economics, finance, or a related field; have demonstrated research and analytical skills; and have excellent written and oral communication skills. Senior-level candidates should have an established research record and/or a significant amount of relevant policymaking experience. Salary and level of position will be commensurate with background and experience. Due to hiring restrictions, the candidate must be a U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, or hold a permanent resident/green card with intent to become a U.S. Citizen.
