The College Of Business Administration invites applications for a tenured position at the rank of associate professor or a tenure-track position for a senior assistant professor. This position has been created as a result of a recent strategic hiring initiative by the university. The person selected for the position will be a vital member of a new master’s-level business analytics program delivered in collaboration with the UCF Department of Statistics. It is expected that the position will be housed in either the Department of Economics or the Department of Marketing. Start date for the position will be August 2016.

Candidates must have earned a doctorate from a regionally- or nationally-accredited institution of higher education in Economics or a discipline closely related to business analytics such as Marketing, Computer Science, Statistics, etc. Candidates must have a record of research productivity commensurate with UCF expectations at the associate professor rank or senior assistant professor rank.

A record of success in teaching business analytics and/or related courses is preferred. Demonstrated versatility in teaching analytics applications across different business areas (Marketing, Management, Finance, Sport Business) is preferred. Experience in the application of analytics/big data in some combination of consulting, professional time in business or government and/or similar meaningful activities is preferred.
