Assistant Professor of Economics
The College of Business and Management at Saginaw Valley State University, an AACSB accredited institution invites applications for a tenure track full-time appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor of Economics to begin July 1, 2016. We invite applications from candidates with expertise in any field within economics. Duties include teaching 12 credit-hours per semester in the areas of Introduction to Economics, Principles of Macroeconomics or Microeconomics and Statistics. An ability to teach in the area of Industrial Organizations is a plus. Additional courses would be as assigned by the Department.
The successful candidate will be expected to engage in scholarly activities commensurate to the requirements of the college. A Ph.D. in Economics is required. A candidate who is ABD and close to completion may be considered.
