The Department of Economics within the School of Social Sciences of the University of Southampton is seeking to make two appointments at Lecturer level in Economics. These positions are permanent and subject to a probationary period.

The University of Southampton ranks in the top 1% of world Universities.The Economics Department has an outstanding reputation for high quality applied and theoretical research in all core areas of Economics. Candidates from all fields of Economics with strong research backgrounds, a demonstrated ability to publish in leading international Journals and excellent teaching skills are encouraged to apply.

You will have a PhD in economics and/or econometrics, an established record of research and scholarship and experience of teaching economics at the undergraduate and postgraduate level. You will develop and maintain a high quality research agenda that leads to publications in top journals and grant applications and provide research supervision at Masters and PhD levels. You will teach at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels; and contribute to the administration of the Department. .
