The Department of Finance invites applications for an Assistant/Associate Professor position (employment starting fall 2016).
Scholars in investments, asset pricing, and the structure/regulation of financial markets/institutions are encouraged to apply. Duties include research targeting top finance/economics/law journals, teaching in undergraduate financial market regulation and MBA programs, and involvement in the Institute for Financial Market Regulation (http://www.albany.edu/ifmr/). Teaching/service loads are consistent with research expectations.
Requirements: Ph.D. in finance/economics with research aimed at top-tier journals and a strong commitment to quality teaching.
