Weber State University is a public, open enrollment, urban university located 35 miles north of Salt Lake City at the base of the Wasatch Mountains. The University has a total enrollment of over 25,000 students.

The Department of Economics invites applications for two one-year visiting assistant professor positions beginning fall of 2016. These positions offer a competitive salary and 3/3 teaching load.

Successful candidates must have a demonstrated ability and interest in teaching courses in Business Statistics. Teaching responsibilities for this position may also include upper- and lower-level economics courses.

The ideal candidate will be a dynamic teacher who maintains an active research agenda. ABD candidates for a PhD in economics will be considered.
