The Department of Economics at Saint Louis University invites applications for a one-year visiting (non-tenure track) Assistant Professor position for 2016-17. The successful candidate will possess excellent teaching skills. In order of priority, teaching responsibilities will include principles of economics (one semester micro/macro combined), introductory econometrics, and/or applied microeconomics elective e.g., industrial organization, labor.
Candidates should have all requirements for the Ph.D. degree completed prior to August 15, 2016 however advanced ABDs will be considered. Applications should include a cover letter, curriculum vitae, three letters of references, and evidence of effective teaching/teaching evaluations. Candidates should submit materials via the JOE website with priority given to applications received by April 25, 2016.
