General Description
Leavitt Partners is seeking to hire a research scientist with a background in quantitative health policy and/or health economics research. The position will join the research department and will assist in conducting quantitative research evaluating various components of the American health care system for government agencies, policymakers and industry participants.

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities:
 Produce research and analysis derived from different public and private sources on a broad variety of topics
 Manage long-term research projects with regular deliverables
 Work closely with client managers to design, implement and deliver research projects to clients

Education and Experience:
 Doctoral degree required in health services research, economics, biostatistics, public policy, or related area
 Experience conducting independent quantitative research
 Deep understanding of the health care system and interest in health policy
 Experience with statistical programming (Stata, R, etc.)
