The School of Entrepreneurship and Management at ShanghaiTech University invites applications from outstanding candidates for tenure-track faculty positions in Economics, Finance, or related fields at the assistant, associate, or full professor levels. All areas are open. We plan to hire three individuals, one with an emphasis on Macroeconomics and two with an emphasis on Finance with research related to corporate finance, market micro-structures, market mechanisms, and financial engineering topics.

Junior candidates should have completed the PhD prior to the fall of 2015. Candidates for senior positions will be expected to display a record of appropriate achievement.

Shanghai Tech is a new University jointly funded and founded by the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the City of Shanghai. The School of Entrepreneurship and Management has been established to pursue joint research and interdisciplinary scholarship and teaching at the frontiers of contemporary social science and philosophy.
