Full Text of JOE Listing:
Credit Risk Analysis Division (Credit RAD) of the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) has openings for financial economists and senior financial economists.
Major duties and responsibilities include:
* Conducts bank specific reviews of credit risk models and analysis used in the relevant business context
* Engage in credit risk modeling and analysis projects
* Conduct research for presentation and publication
* Provide advice, training and outreach to examiners, bank staff and management
Specialization in Econometrics, Financial Economics, Consumer Finance, Corporate Finance, Labor Economics, Credit Risk, or Risk Management is helpful but not required. Ideal candidates will have an interest in credit risk, consumer finance, corporate finance, and applied econometrics. Senior level candidates will have demonstrated expertise in credit risk modeling and analysis as evidenced by a research and/or industry experience in relevant areas.
The OCC is a bureau of the U.S. Department of Treasury, headquartered in Washington, D.C. The OCC charters, regulates, and supervises national banks and federal savings associations. Recently, the OCC was selected again as one of "The Best Places to Work in the Federal Government."
