The Department of Economics at the University of Arizona is seeking to make four faculty appointments, effective August 2018. Preference will be given to candidates whose research focus is on econometrics, microeconomic theory, or applied microeconomics (in the areas of health, public, and development economics). Special consideration will be given to applicants with an expertise in health care. Applicants with interests in behavioral and experimental economics are encouraged. We strive for excellence in research and teaching; in the case of candidates applying for a tenured position, this has to be demonstrated by engagement in significant ongoing research, a strong publication record, and demonstrated effectiveness in teaching.
