The University of Virginia's Department of Economics of the College and Graduate School of Arts & Sciences invites applications for a position at all tenure-track and tenured ranks (Assistant/Associate/Professor) in all fields with particular attention on macroeconomics, econometrics and labor/education. Candidates are expected to have an outstanding research record relative to rank, along with the capacity to teach and advise PH.D. students in their research.
The appointment begins with the fall term of 2018, with an anticipated start date of July 2018. Candidates at the assistant professor level must be on track to receive a Ph.D. in the relevant field by May 2018, and must hold a Ph.D. at the time of appointment while those at the associate and full levels must hold a Ph.D. at the time of application.
