Assistant Professor
Department of Economics

The Department of Economics at California State Polytechnic University, Pomona invites applications for a tenure track Assistant Professor position to begin Fall 2018. We seek candidates with teaching and research interests in Applied Econometrics.

The new faculty member will teach classes in Econometrics at the intermediate and graduate level, as well as other courses in Economics. Faculty responsibilities include research and publication, advising students, and service at all levels of the university. The successful candidate will demonstrate an interest in involving students in research, an ability to work in an interdisciplinary environment, and an enthusiasm for hands-on, learning-centered education.

The successful candidate will be expected to work cooperatively with faculty and staff in the Department, College and University. Salary will be commensurate with experience and the California State University salary schedule. Applicants whose work incorporates a global perspective and a commitment to diversity in higher education are particularly encouraged to apply.
