We welcome applicants for the position of Assistant Professor of Public Policy whose research is relevant to understanding immigration and/or migration. We seek a scholar whose research advances our understanding of the causes and consequences of these population movements. He or she may also study the social, political, economic, and demographic realignments that migrants produce in their communities of destination or origin. Applicants’ research should have important public policy implications. A Ph.D. or equivalent is required by the time of appointment.
We are a collegial, interdisciplinary department within a school of public affairs located at an excellent and diverse public university in one of the greatest cities in the world. We offer a Master of Public Policy degree, are developing an undergraduate major, and help train doctoral students from varied departments across campus.
