Assistant Professor In Economics Beginning Fall 2018
Scripps College, a women’s liberal arts college with a strong interdisciplinary tradition, invites applications for a tenure-track position at the assistant professor level in Economics. The teaching load is 4 courses annually plus senior thesis advising. We seek candidates with fields in macroeconomics, international economics, and money/banking.
Participation in the College’s Core Curriculum in Interdisciplinary Humanities program is expected. Ph.D., teaching experience, and evidence of research potential are required. Preference will be given to applicants with a commitment to the College’s goal of improving higher education for underrepresented students.
The deadline for applications is November 17, 2017; interviews will be conducted at the American Economic Association annual meeting in January 2018. Applications should include a cover letter, c.v., three letters of reference, recent teaching evaluations, and a research sample.
