The Department of Economics in the Robins School of Business invites applications for a tenure-track position as an Assistant Professor of Economics beginning in August 2018. The individual should have a research field in development economics. The teaching requirements will be primarily courses in business statistics, econometrics, and data analytics, along with principles and development economics. The teaching load is 3-2 and applicants should have at least one year of successful teaching experience.
The Economics Department is located within the Robins School of Business, a nationally ranked undergraduate business program. The department expects excellence in teaching and meaningful research aimed at publication in top-tier scholarly journals. Candidates must be on course for completion of a Ph.D. in Economics by August 2018 and meet the position requirements at the time of selection.
