The University of San Diego invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor in International Economics to begin in Fall 2018 with funding provided by the Center for Ethics, Economics, and Public Policy. Candidates should have a strong background and interest in interdisciplinary work in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics (PPE), and will be expected to teach regularly to assist in developing the PPE minor, in addition to standard courses in the Department of Economics. The successful candidate will have a Ph.D. in Economics prior to the start of the appointment and is expected to maintain a record of exceptional scholarly achievement and dedication to teaching excellence and service in a liberal arts environment. Teaching responsibilities include introductory and upper-level courses at either the undergraduate or graduate levels in the general area of microeconomics, along with field courses that reflect the candidate's research and teaching interests.
