The Department of Economics at the University of California, Berkeley seeks applications at the assistant, associate, and full professor rank (100% time), with an expected start date of July 1, 2018. Rank will be determined based on qualifications and experience. The Department is interested in candidates who will contribute to diversity and equal opportunity in higher education through their teaching, research, and service.
For Assistant Professor Applicants:
Basic Qualifications Required:
The completion of all Ph.D. or equivalent degree requirements except the dissertation at the time of application.

A Ph.D. or equivalent degree in Economics or a related discipline, which must be completed within one year of the appointment.

The ideal candidate will have an outstanding track record of publications in top-ranked economics journals. She or he will also have demonstrated the ability to elaborate the implications of their research, and findings from their field of specialization, for undergraduates and Ph.D. students in economics.
