The Department of Economics at the University of Bristol invites applications from strong candidates in any field in Economics. Applicants should demonstrate the ability to publish in top international journals and teach to the highest standards at undergraduate and masters level. Applicants should have completed, or be close to completing, a PhD in Economics or a related discipline by the post start date.

The closing date for applications is midnight, GMT on Friday 24 November 2017. We will be doing preliminary interviews at the AEA meeting in Philadephia and at the RES meeting in London. Interviews in Bristol are expected to be held in January/February 2018. The proposed start date is 1 September 2018.
