The research institute of Global Value Chains (RIGVC) at University of International Business and Economics (UIBE) invites applications for multiple positions (Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor) in all fields of international, business and quantitative economics, with a particular emphasis on quantitative analysis of global value chains. Candidates are expected to have an outstanding research record relative to rank, along with the capacity to teach and advise Master and Ph.D. students in their research. Applicants must have a Ph.D at the time of appointment from an accredited institution. To be considered at the rank of full professor, the candidate must have a record of publication in recognized top journals. The appointment is expected to begin on August 30, 2018.
Compensation package includes competitive salary, relocation and housing allowances, start-up research fund and other fringe benefits. For distinguished international scholars, we offer highly competitive compensation package above market level.
As an independent college of UIBE focusing on research and graduate training without undergraduates, the newly established institute is consisting of 30 full time teaching/research faculties and 5 administrative and supporting staffs that will be filled in next 2-3 years.
