The Institute for Macroeconomics at the department of Economics of the University of Bonn is looking to hire a Post-Doctoral Researcher (m/f) / (pay scale E 14 TV-L, 100 %). The position can start on September 2018 or earlier and it will be initially filled for 3 years (shorter if desired) and is financed from the European Research Council and departmental funds. There is also a possibility of extension.

You have...
a PhD degree economics, or a related field
commensurate research experience from his/her doctoral studies

You are...
experienced in working on functional data analysis of large household pan-els and/or the macroeconomic modeling of heterogeneous households in a framework of incomplete markets and nominal rigidities (a “HANK model”)

You will work within the ERC project of Prof. Bayer, LiquidHouseCycle, studying the aggregate repercussions of time variations in the liquidity of household portfolios.
