The University of Florida, Food and Resource Economics Department seeks to fill a 12-month or 9-month tenure accruing position for an Assistant Professor with teaching and research interests in agribusiness marketing and management. This position is 60% teaching (College of Agricultural and Life Sciences) and 40% research (Florida Agricultural Experiment Station) in the Food and Resource Economics Department, Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences, at the University of Florida. Duties will include teaching four undergraduate and graduate courses in the areas of agribusiness marketing (both general and international), strategic selling and agribusiness management (with an emphasis on financial management), supply chain management and analysis. This assignment may change in accordance with the needs of the unit. Applicants should possess excellent quantitative and communication skills, and the motivation to work in multidisciplinary teams.
