Capital One is looking for a labor economist that has a passion with using data to drive insights, tell compelling stories, and deliver transformative results that directly impact over 50K associates and 60M customers. The ideal candidate would have a deep interest in people topics and a desire to ensure Capital One is a place where every associate feels like they belong. This individual will partner closely with Compensation, Enterprise Diversity and Inclusion team, and the Chief Diversity Officer to develop and implement strategies to ensure all associates are rewarded fairly.

Specific responsibilities include:
-Develop, maintain, and refine a statistical regression model to ensure we are compensating and rewarding associates fairly
-Perform complex analyses pertaining to Pay Equity & Diversity and disseminate findings and recommendations
-Partner with Legal, Compensation, and D&I to lead compliance reporting and potentially assist with EEOC or other investigations
-Lead product ownership of tools and control mechanisms to help Comp Consultants and management associates make fair and informed pay decisions across Capital One
-Build predictive and prescriptive insights for stakeholders and leadership
-Maintain subject matter expertise on external market factors and partner with internal legal counsel to ensure pay is objectively defensible
