Washington University in St. Louis is seeking applicants for a full-time lecturer in the economics department beginning the fall semester of the 2018-19 academic year. Candidates should have completed a Ph.D. in economics (or close to completion) and provide evidence of excellence in teaching. Position requires duties equivalent to a full-time teaching load, which the university defines as at least 12 credit-hours of classroom teaching in each semester, and which may include a combination of teaching and other departmental service and advising as appropriate. We have particular interest in candidates with expertise in applied economics, applied econometrics and skills teaching large sections of principles of economics. Candidates should provide a curriculum vita, three letters of recommendation, and summaries of teaching experience and research interests.
