The Sorrell College of Business at Troy University invites applications for the position of Executive Director of the Manuel H. Johnson Center for Political Economy. The successful applicant will hold a faculty appointment in Economics. Duties include teaching courses in Economics as assigned; maintaining an active research agenda; conducting and supervising research with Johnson Center policy analysts and affiliated scholars on issue of importance; authoring policy briefs and op-eds; fund-raising and serving as the external representative of the Johnson Center; and other duties as assigned by the Dean to advance the Johnson Center’s mission. The successful candidate will have experience in teaching, conducting economic policy research, student program development, and fund-raising.
