The Center for Monetary and Financial Alternatives at the Cato Institute – a public policy research organization – is expanding its DC-based team and seeking to hire for two positions that will cover and oversee a broad portfolio of financial regulation issues, including banking and securities regulation:
- Director of Financial Regulation Studies (A PhD in economics or finance or JD with at least seven years of experience.)
- Policy Expert in Financial Regulation (A PhD in economics or finance or JD with at least five years of experience, or a Master’s in economics or finance with at least seven years of experience.)
The Center for Monetary and Financial Alternatives at the Cato Institute was established in 2014 in response to a growing need for robust research on and analysis of the expansive role central banks and government regulation of finance play in the economy.
