Full Text of JOE Listing:
PPI seeks an accomplished competition policy analyst to develop fresh perspectives on issues related to economic concentration, monopoly and monopsony, anti-trust law, and barriers to market entry. The position requires solid research and writing skills, and the ability to grapple creatively with questions about market power, right-sizing companies in global competition; innovation and size; competition in innovation ecosystems, defining consumer harm in an era of "free" internet and social media services; and long-term investment.
This person will join a solid team of economic, political and communications experts that will help shape the debate on competition policy. PPI is the best fit for a team player that can work independently and bring a comparative perspective on various approaches to competition policy. Responsibilities will focus on self-directed research and writing, as well as networking PPI’s ideas globally.
