The Department of Economics has an opening at the rank of associate or full professor with tenure (subject to final budgetary approval) in empirical economics, with particular interest in microeconomics of the family and/or gender. We are especially eager to attract candidates who support our institutional commitment to ensuring BU is inclusive and diverse. Candidates must have an international reputation in research and an exceptional record of undergraduate and graduate teaching. The successful candidate will conduct research; teach undergraduate and graduate courses; advise students; and perform service for the Department, the University, and the profession.
