The Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service of Georgetown University invites applications for a full-time non-tenure-line faculty position in economics (open rank) for a three-year renewable term. The successful candidate will have a Ph.D. in economics and established teaching and research records in the field of international economics, with a preference for open-economy macroeconomics (JEL codes F, F3 and F4).
The instructional load will be six semester courses per academic year, at the undergraduate and Master’s levels to students across majors and concentrations. Research, instructional, or professional experience that relates theory to policy is desirable. Alongside teaching, the incumbent will maintain an active research agenda and be a member of the academic community at Georgetown University.
