The Bureau of Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (BCFP) is seeking to fill one or more positions for Economists and/or Senior Economists in its Office of Research. The Office of Research is an interdisciplinary group of economists and other researchers who study a wide range of topics, including consumer decision-making, household financial choices, and markets for consumer financial services. Economists conduct independent research and provide analytic support in the areas of policy development, regulations, consumer education and engagement, bank and non-bank supervision, fair lending, and enforcement, all in support of the Bureau's mission.

We are seeking motivated candidates who will thrive in a dynamic work environment. Candidates should possess a strong research focus as well as an interest in working with interdisciplinary teams of researchers, industry practitioners, and attorneys.
