The African School of Economics will have two faculty openings starting in September 2019 – one in Finance, Behavioral Economics, or Economic Theory, and one in Applied Microeconomics and Development Economics.

A list of potential partner universities will be presented to candidates who have advanced to the second round of the interview process. Currently, we have an Assistant Professor at the African School of Economics who is partnered with the Department of Politics at Princeton University.
Primary criteria for consideration are a Ph.D. in a relevant field, an outstanding academic record, and teaching experience.
This position is tenure track, with the option for renewal after the initial three-year appointment.
