The NUIST Reading Academy is seeking to appoint two fulltime economics lecturers to teach introductory and intermediate microeconomics, quantitative methods, and econometrics.
The Academy is located in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province, People's Republic of China, and is a joint venture between the University of Reading and the Nanjing University of Information Science and Technology (NUIST). The Academy aims to provide high-quality education to students in China with the possibility of completing degree courses in the UK.
Job Particulars:
Two full time economics lecturer posts at NUIST Reading Academy.
Annual salary (RMB, before tax): 250,000+
Travel allowance: 10,000 RMB per year
Medical Insurance
Housing accommodations provided.
Starting date: August 2019
Responsibilities:
The Academy delivers all courses in English. The appointees will have the following responsibilities:
Teach on the BSc International Economics and Trade;
Hold weekly office hours.
Requirements:
Proficiency in English;
PhD in Economics.
Desirable:
Experience in teaching economics in an university environment;
Documented excellence in classroom;
Documented excellence as an academic advisor to undergraduates;
Experience dealing with students from diverse backgrounds;
