Full Text of JOE Listing:
We are looking to hire a full-time research assistant to begin in the summer of 2019 and work for one year. The position will entail close collaboration with all stages of empirical research at the interface of market design, health economics, and industrial organization. This person would work on high impact projects on improving the kidney allocation system in the United States.
Bachelor’s degree required. The ideal candidate will have:
1. strong quantitative background
2. strong computer skills including programming
3. ability to work independently
4. interest in pursuing a PhD in economics.
Prior research assistant experience strongly preferred. Excellent grades required. Ideal for someone with enthusiasm for empirical research.
Position is located at the National Bureau of Economic Research (NBER) in Cambridge Massachusetts.
