The Economics Department of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill invites applications for Teaching Assistant Professor/Advisor to teach econometrics and other courses in the undergraduate program and advise undergraduates. A completed Ph.D. in Economics is required by July 1, 2019. This is a 12 month position over a fixed term with the possibility of renewal that requires teaching two undergraduate courses per academic semester for a total of four courses during the academic year. The position also requires serving as a faculty advisor in the College of Arts and Sciences Academic Advising Program during the academic year and the summer. Responsibilities begin July 1, 2019.

The Department of Economics is within the College of Arts and Sciences. It confers BA, MA and Ph.D. degrees. The department currently has a full-time faculty of 35 and an enrollment of about 1,000 undergraduate majors and 70 doctoral students. For more information, see
