We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated individual to work as a full-time Research Scholar who will support a project funded by the NSF, examining the impacts of a wage insurance program designed to help displaced workers .
This is an ideal position for those interested in preparing for a Ph.D. in economics or public policy. The Research Scholar (RS) will be an NBER employee based in Cambridge, Mass, and will primarily work with confidential data housed in the Federal Statistical Research Data Center. Candidates must be able to complete the associated background checks needed to obtain Special Sworn Status in order to access the data.
