The Economics Department, BGSU is seeking applicants for an instructor (Full time, non-tenure track, one-year appointment, renewable subject to budget and satisfactory annual evaluations) in the field of Economics beginning August, 2019. Responsibilities: teaching four sections of Economics (principles, perhaps intermediate) per semester. Minimum Requirements: Ph.D. in Economics (ABD accepted) or Master’s Degree in Economics with the equivalent of at least 1 year of professional (non-academic) experience. Preference will be given to candidates with multiple years of teaching including field courses. Also required, documented record of effective teaching at the university level as evidenced through a statement of teaching philosophy and teaching evaluations.
