The Department of Economics within the Tippie College of Business at the University of Iowa invites applications for one Tenured/Tenure-Track Faculty Position in Econometrics at the level of Assistant, Associate, and Full Professor starting August 19, 2020. Rank will be based on experience and record of achievement. Position is 100% time with benefits. For more information about the Tenured/Tenure-Track Faculty policy, refer to the Operations Manual, III 10.1.
A successful candidate will be expected to develop a consistent record of positive classroom teaching in the undergraduate, master, and doctoral programs; supervise doctoral research; and maintain a record of excellence in published scholarly research.
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications. Appropriate background checks (e.g. criminal background and credential checks) will be conducted.

Education Requirement:
An earned Ph.D. in Economics or closely related field is required or needs to be completed before August 19, 2020.
Required Qualifications:
We will consider candidates in all fields in econometrics.
Senior candidates must have outstanding records of scholarly achievement and evidence of successful teaching experience in econometrics, and will be expected to take on leadership roles in the Department and College. Junior candidates must demonstrate potential for outstanding records of scholarly achievement. Candidates must be committed to excellence in undergraduate and graduate education with demonstrated evidence of a commitment to diversity in the educational community.
Desired Qualifications:
We particularly seek candidates in the core areas of theoretical and applied micro-econometrics.
